Problem With CD Drives

Hi All,

I have a problem with the cd drives in my computer. Either if I want to eject a cd or after I've ejected one and pressed the button to close the tray, the computer shuts itself down. The good thing is that I updated the computer with the Windows XP service pack, so the error message I was getting went away. Any idea on how to fix this problem that still persists?
